Statement on Mitch Cronin

The Norths Devils send out their sincerest thoughts to the Cronin family and the Wynnum-Manly Seagulls community, following the passing of team captain Mitch Cronin.

Many of the Norths Devils community knew Mitch through rep football and his presence in the Intrust Super Cup competition. They remember Mitch as a great sportsman and humble opponent.

It is hard to process the tragedy of losing someone with so much talent, and of such great character, so young.

Norths were originally due to verse Wynnum-Manly the weekend the news of Mitch’s passing broke, reminding us all how precious life is.

You can help support the Cronin family by donating to their gofundme to create memorials to keep Mitch’s memory alive: https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-loving-memory-of-mitch-cronin?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR26XTpk5NKvl_LJglXKwy3fVzha_CJbrStrcAdtM7pTfq6fdvisUPFj_aw
