Marist Saints
Born on April 27, 1999, in Sydney, New South Wales, Peter Hola is a professional rugby league player known for his role as a prop forward. Standing at 192 cm and weighing 110 kg, Hola’s robust presence has been a significant asset to his teams.
Hola’s rugby journey began in Auckland, New Zealand, where he played his junior football for the Marist Saints. His talent was evident early on, leading to his selection for the New Zealand under-18 side in 2017.
In 2017, Hola relocated to Townsville, Queensland, joining the North Queensland Cowboys’ NYC squad. He played for the Townsville Blackhawks in the Mal Meninga Cup before advancing to the Cowboys’ NYC team, making eight appearances that season.
The following year, Hola played for the Northern Pride in the Hastings Deering Colts competition, earning the club’s Under-20 Best and Fairest award. His consistent performance led to his Queensland Cup debut with the Pride later that season. In October 2018, he represented the Junior Kiwis against the Junior Kangaroos at Mt Smart Stadium.
Hola made his NRL debut with the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 21 of the 2019 season against the Brisbane Broncos. Over three seasons with the Cowboys (2019–2021), he made 12 appearances.
In 2022, Hola signed a two-year contract with the Canberra Raiders, extending his NRL career. During his tenure with the Raiders, he made three appearances between 2023 and 2024.
In October 2024, Hola joined the Norths Devils in the Queensland Cup, aiming to bring his NRL experience to the team and make a significant impact in the competition.
